Max got moved today to the Special Care Nursery! Yeah. I can stay with him there 24 hours a day sharing a room. We won't get much sleep with nurses coming in every few hours, but then, who gets much sleep with a new baby anyway. He is doing well, he just needs to build up his endurance so that he can take 8 bottle/nipple feeds a day. Right now, he can only do about 4 without being really tired.
So, we'll be hanging out for probably another week trying to build up endurance, gain a little weight and hopefully get mom and baby back on the same schedule with breastfeeding, eating and sleeping.
Adam is feeling better today. He was diagnosed with the flu last night and started taking Tamiflu. He is MUCH better today, but we won't be able to see him for several more days until he isn't contagious anymore. I think I've avoided it, but am still being pretty cautious. We miss "daddy" very much and can't wait to be able to spend time as a family together again. It has been a rough few days.
More to come, but here is a new picture of our bundle. I just love his little hat. They put it on him today after they took out the IV that was on his head.
Thanks for all the prayers!
Paige

I'm so thankful he has been moved up to the "halfway house". We are thinking of you and always praying! Hoping Max comes home soon and that Adam is back to 100%! We love you all! Taryn
